I’m Amin Imanifar
I have worked in editing for 24 years. Choosing sound and matching it to the picture has been a regular part of that work. SoundX grew out of that experience.
Finding the right sound kept taking time away from my edits. I built SoundX so I could search, listen and use audio inside Premiere. It is a tool I wanted in my own work.

Through teaching and a page previously known as pulsisho, I was in touch with thousands of students in Iran and abroad. Their questions kept coming back to one thing: how could they find the right sound faster and use it more easily in a project?
I wanted the search for audio to take less time away from editing.
We would stop work in Premiere, search across different sources and download a file. Only after importing it could we see whether it worked with the scene. For editors in Iran, difficulty accessing some sources made the process take even longer.
At first, I thought a music website could solve the problem. I built and launched websites more than once, but they did not give me the result I wanted. Each attempt helped me understand what was still difficult and time-consuming.
Those experiences helped me make a clearer choice about what to build next.
I wanted to search and listen to audio in the same place where I edited. The tool needed to sit beside my project so I could use it without going back and forth between Premiere and different websites.
SoundX lets you search music, melodies and sound effects, listen to previews and bring the original audio into your project. When a track has separate layers, you can choose just the instruments and layers you need.
See how to use SoundXI build SoundX around the work I know: choosing audio, matching it to the picture and finishing a project on time. I want finding and using sound to be easier, leaving more time and attention for the edit.
