Once SoundX is installed, use these four steps to place your first sound.

Open SoundX
After installation, open Window → UXP Plugins → SoundX in Premiere.

Sign in once
Use your mobile number and the six-digit code sent by an available channel.

Choose with your ears
Search, press Play, and click the waveform to hear another moment.
4
Place it at the playhead
Move Premiere’s playhead, then press +Timeline. SoundX adds a new audio track there.

Keep SoundX next to the timeline.
After installing the CCX through Creative Cloud Desktop, open SoundX from Premiere’s UXP Plugins menu. Dock the panel where it stays visible without covering your edit.
Use Premiere Pro 25.6 or newer.
A tall, narrow panel gives track cards and filters enough room.
Your active sequence and playhead determine where audio is placed.

Open Account, choose an available delivery method, and enter the six-digit verification code. Preview, Favorites, and Timeline actions use this account.

Start broad, then narrow the library.
Pick Music, Melodies, or SFX first. Search by a useful idea—such as mood, instrument, or action—then use only the filters that improve the result.
1Choose a libraryMusic for full tracks and stems, Melodies for instrument-led phrases, SFX for precise actions and ambience.
2Describe what you need“Tense cinematic”, “soft piano”, or “door close” is more useful than a long sentence.
3Filter and sortUse genre, mood, instrument, BPM, key, category, or duration where they apply; then sort the results.

Put the full mix exactly at the playhead.
Move Premiere’s playhead to the start point you want, then press +Timeline on the track card. SoundX imports the master once and inserts it on a new audio track.
Set the playhead in the active sequence.
Press +Timeline on the chosen track.
Wait for download and verification to finish; the clip appears automatically.

Use only the layers your edit needs.
When a music track includes Stems, open the Stems drawer and keep the layers you want. SoundX places every selected layer on its own track, all starting at the same playhead position.
